Rainier Beach moves on to the Sea-King 3A championship game after a big win over Seattle Prep.
The DigitalSports’ Top 50 team played Seattle Prep earlier in February in a close 61-54 match, but this time, the Vikings took a commanding victory.
Dejounte Murray led the way for Rainier with a triple-double performance. The senior guard marked 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Right there with him, Ivy Smith also dropped 19 points to accompany his 10 assists, six rebounds, and six steals.
In the end, Rainier Beach took a powerful 87-59 win over Seattle Prep, sending them through to the championship game.
The Vikings will face Bellevue in the finals, a team that just came back from a 10-point fourth quarter deficit. The two squads faced off on February 21 at 6:30pm.
